We really hate to remind you, but those dreaded winter months are just around the corner. And if you’re anything like some of the people around our office, you may have procrastinated a bit on planning your annual holiday adventure. No worries, though – we still have space on a select few Holiday Nature Expeditions, where you’ll get to trade in the cold, dark days of December for sunny beaches, rainforests, and vast savannahs. What better time to enjoy the adventure of a lifetime than during the holidays? Airfare is going fast, though, so start planning now! Here’s what we have to offer:
The Jewels of Costa Rica (Dec. 26 – Jan. 3)
Float through lush and lively landscapes – rainforests, misty mountains, and active volcanoes. You’re sure to see more unique species in this place than you’ve ever witnessed before: three-toed sloths, neon-splashed parrots, monkeys, gigantic ferns, magenta orchids, iguanas, and much more!.
Galapagos By Land (Dec. 18 – 28)
You’ll experience some of the wildest places on Earth on this lodge-based journey, where you’ll stay at some of the newest and most unique private lodges on the islands. Explore lava tunnels, peer into a volcano, swim at beautiful white-sand beaches, and snorkel with sea lions.
Secluded Botswana (Dec. 19 – 31)
This is the Africa that you’ve always imagined. Vast herds of big game roam the expansive savannahs as you and your small group of travelers embark on a safari by 4×4, boat, canoe, and on foot. The wildness of the African bush comes alive as our classic luxury tented safari camps evoke a nostalgia from days gone by.
This is the perfect chance to make your winter escape and get an awesome tan while the rest of us turn pasty white and go into hibernation mode. Visit our website or click the links above for more information on these trips, or call an Adventure Specialist at 1-800-543-8917!
(P.S. If these adventures aren’t quite what you’re looking for and you’d like a customized trip just for you or for a big group of friends and family, we can create a private holiday adventure to southern Africa, Kenya and Tanzania, or Costa Rica, to name a few. Call us for more info!)Megan Emmett.
