The second season of an internet reality show is coming our way this week.  It features a very different kind of star, namely, the grizzly bears and wildlife of Katmai National Park and Preserve.

Explore.org streams live the drama, daily habits and behaviors of these majestic bears through eight strategically placed cameras that offer viewpoints that even real-life park visitors would be jealous of.  Check out this live stream from Brooks Falls where multiple bears position themselves to catch salmon swimming upriver. Underwater and eye-level cameras give viewers unparalleled footage of grizzly bears fishing and interacting.

Live Bear Cam Screen Shot

This is a screen shot of the live bear cam taken at the time I wrote this post. The bear in the foreground caught a salmon 10 seconds later!

And of course to see these amazing creatures in person check out one of Nat Hab’s Alaska grizzly bear adventures where you will spend time with grizzly bears at this very spot at Brooks Falls!
