It seems that NatHab travelers overwhelmingly agree that animals like to play. After posting an article on the topic and a YouTube video of an elk playing in a mud puddle at Good Nature, I received an e-mail from David Kleeman, who wrote to me with some stunning footage shot by his wife, Leslie Hornig, of a sea lion having fun with a starfish. David and Leslie were on Natural Habitat Adventure’s Classic Galapagos Expedition in July and August of 2010. Leslie spotted this sea lion playing off the island of Espanola.
